Judge Orders Release of Abu Ghraib Photos

Story here. It was up on Yahoo headlines for 10 minutes then got bumped to make room for coverage of the protests (HAHAHAHA, just kiddin'), I mean the religion in public schools bullshit.

If these photos get out the shit is really gonna hit the fan.

Please don't use this to celebrate some sort of victory against Bush. It's a victory against no one. The truth is horrible, and in these past 5 years we have just been trying to get it to the surface. When it does hit the surface, it's not pretty, & most people will choose not to deal with it as they are doing now with the poor hurricane response and as they did when Abu Ghraib first broke. The billionaire media has almost nothing to do with reality, but sometimes, as with the hurricane, it slaps them in the face and forces them to deal.

No matter how obviously incompentant the Bush administration is there will always be his vast network of loyalists to spin and defend it. The fact is it took FEMA and the National Guard 5 days to get into New Orleans, costing lives. Simply pointing out the obvious becomes a frustrating and hopeless activity when you're dealing with people who would rationalise Bush eating a live baby on prime time TV. The fantasy of the liberal media will always be intact to coat Bush in teflon.

Local governments

Look: There are two kinds of people in this country. Super rich people represented by almost every elected official in Washington DC, and the rest of us.
Which side are you on?

It's obvious that we cannot rely on the super rich to use our tax dollars responsibly. Why would they? They don't represent us. They represent the people who get them into high office and who in turn they grant government contracts to.

It's obvious, for situations such as in New Orleans, that we have to create our own militias to keep order. There are organizations who provide food and other kinds of aid which are nonprofits, and those should be expanded upon, and that's what's happening now. We should stop looking to the corrupt United States Government for answers and protection, and stop paying taxes, and mainly expand our militias so WE can go in and shoot those psychotics who are rapings and shooting at aid workers. Perhaps we can improve on our state governments.

But there must be localized governments who are not connected with Washington, as well as local food systems and systems of trade and local militias to expand upon the aid organizations. We have to stop giving our money to washington and rich multinational conglomerates.

and if you think I'm trying to "politicize" than I know EXACLY which side you're on. You're on the side which engages in mindless, meaningless "red vs. blue" reality. If New Orleans is not evidence enough for you that the real battle is the filthy rich represented in Washington and the rest of us, I dont know what is.

I think all the songs have been sung, all the speeches have been made, and it's all been documented. I don't have to say anymore. If you don't know by now than goodbye. We just have to start dedicating our lives to the local community, and regard the federal government as an enemy.
